Every End is a New Beginning

This song is absolutely perfect, and if you've seen the movie in which it's from, then you know how important it is, not just to the movie, but to the fans.

It's from an anime movie called Byōsoku Go Senchimētoru, or 5 Centimeters per Second. It is such a beautiful, touching, heart breaking movie, and I always feel a little melancholy whenever I finish watching it. Even if you're remotely interested, I urge you to check this out. It's not the typical anime that most people think of, with giant robots and futuristic technology. It's real life, dealing with love, separation, hope and heartbreak.

I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do, even if you aren't interested in movie. It's a beautiful piece.

XOXO, Dani

  1. I've been meaning to comment you back, from all your wonderful comments to me, I am really glad that there is another person out there that enjoys fashion and anime such as myself. anime is a huge part of art, and what alot of "fashionista's " don't get is that alot of anime's are so fashion oriented.

I think this post is so beautiful, I'm suprised I've never ever seen this movie before, I looked it up, and it looks really amazing, I love the color pallette they use in it, alot of pinks and blues, very beautiful. and the song is very nice as well.
oh and not that there isen't anything wrong with robots and futeristic technology ;], robotech was about that but a big part of the story was about seperation, loss, and heartbreak.
    hehe.
